Partners
Our Partners are key to strengthening and expanding high-quality charter school opportunities in Colorado. Through strategic collaboration with organizations like Alpine Bank—which offers vital lines of credit to help subgrantees manage funding delays—and authorizing and oversight bodies including CACSA, CSI, and the Colorado Department of Education, Great Schools Colorado ensures charter schools receive the financial, operational, and regulatory support they need to succeed and grow.
Alpine Bank
The Great Schools Colorado (CSP) team is excited to share with you that we have arranged a Line of Credit opportunity for subgrantees through a partnership with Alpine Bank and the Daniels Fund.
This opportunity will help bridge the gap between expenditures and reimbursements—a particularly challenging balance to strike when launching a new school.
Subgrantees who are interested in applying for this line of credit will work directly with our partners at Alpine Bank: Margaux Askeland and Ian Schierland.
Colorado Association of Charter School Authorizers (CACSA)
CACSA is a non-profit organization that supports all Colorado authorizers and promotes best practices for charter school authorizing in the state. CACSA members include professionals who work directly on authorizing charter schools within school districts and the Colorado Charter School Institute.
Colorado Charter School Institute (CSI)
CSI is a statewide charter school authorizer that was established by the Colorado General Assembly in 2004 and currently authorizes over 40 charter public schools across the state of Colorado, serving more than 22,000 students.
Colorado Department of Education (CDE)
CDE provides leadership, resources, support, and accountability to the state’s 178 school districts, 1,927 schools, over 55,000 teachers, and over 4,100 administrators to help them build capacity to meet the needs of the state’s approximately 883,264 public school students
