News: Special Session and Healthy School Meals for All (HSMA) Update

Nourish Colorado is partnering with CDE, Colorado School Nutrition Association (CSNA), and Greeley Schools to host two Regional Farm to School events for School Food Authorities (SFA) in Colorado.  If you are an SFA, these are a great opportunity to connect with fellow school food authorities, producers, and local partners as you continue to take steps forward in your farm to school journey.

Join Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the National Fishing in Schools Program, a standards-compliant program, for the first "Cast A Lure, Catch A Student" Spincasting In-Person Training in Colorado. The training is at STEM Launch School in Thornton, on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025.

October is Farm to School Month -- a chance for sponsors to showcase Colorado-grown products and teach students about the importance of healthy eating. In partnership with the Colorado Department of Agriculture, CDE is providing tools, resources and opportunities to highlight and enjoy locally sourced foods.

On September 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., educators, leaders, and advocates are invited to a free, one-day virtual conference focused on building systems that support student and staff wellbeing, belonging, and connection.

Through the I Matter Colorado program, all youth ages 18 and under can receive six free, confidential therapy sessions. Watch this video to learn more.
